Mam Tor, known as the “Shivering Mountain”, stands at 517 metres in the Peak District. It’s a very popular walk thanks to its relatively easy access and stunning ridge views. The paved path to the summit makes it suitable for beginners, while the surrounding ridge walk offers a longer and more scenic route.
