Arthur’s Seat is an extinct volcano rising above Edinburgh, offering one of the best viewpoints in the UK for such a short climb. At 251 metres, it’s accessible for most people, but still feels like a proper hike. The views over the city, coastline, and surrounding hills are exceptional, especially at sunrise or sunset.
