Porth Mynawyd, often called Pointz Castle, is a small, rugged cove on the Pembrokeshire coast, close to Newgale. It's a quieter spot than many of the larger beaches nearby, with dramatic cliffs and clear waters that make it popular with experienced paddleboarders, kayakers, and wild swimmers. Access is more limited, usually via coastal paths, which helps keep the cove peaceful and unspoilt. On calm days it's a fantastic place to launch and explore the surrounding cliffs and caves, but as it's exposed to swell and tides, conditions can change quickly.
The cove is around a 15 minute walk from Pointz Castle Ice cream where there is limit parking.
