Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) is the largest natural lake in Wales, stretching over four miles in length. It's a well-known destination for sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, and wild swimming. There are several slipways and beaches for launching, plus boat hire available in Bala town. Walking routes line the lakeside and the surrounding hills offer some of the best views in the area. The lake can feel exposed when the wind rises, but on calmer days it's perfect for both relaxing and adventure.
