Harlyn Beach is a wide, sheltered bay just west of Padstow and one of the most family-friendly beaches in north Cornwall. With its golden sand, gentle slope, and clear water, it’s popular for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, and surfing. There’s a large car park right by the beach, with toilets and seasonal lifeguard cover adding extra convenience. The cliffs and coastal paths surrounding the bay also make for great walks with stunning views across the Atlantic. On calm days it’s an excellent spot to launch a SUP, while at low tide the beach stretches out with plenty of space to enjoy.
