Housel Bay Beach is a secluded sandy cove tucked beneath steep cliffs on the Lizard Peninsula. Access is via a narrow footpath and steps, which keeps it quieter than many of the nearby beaches. At low tide, the golden sand is revealed along with rock pools, while at high tide the beach is mostly covered. It’s a peaceful spot for swimming and relaxing, though the strong currents and lack of lifeguard cover mean it’s best suited to confident swimmers and paddlers. The dramatic cliff scenery makes it a perfect place for those looking for a more hidden corner of Cornwall.
